Self-study on Slocx
Learn a language on your own, with a plan that tells you what's next

Questions people ask
Can you really learn a language on your own?
Yes, if you practise often and you speak, not just read. Slocx plans your week, gives you an AI tutor to talk to every day and brings your words back until you remember them.
How much time do I need each day?
Short, regular practice works better than long sessions now and then. Fifteen minutes a day is a good start, and each step in your plan is small.
Do I need a tutor?
No. You can learn on your own with the study plan and the AI tutor. Many students add a live tutor later, to talk with a person or to prepare for an exam.
What if I'm a complete beginner?
Start from zero. Your plan opens with first sounds, words, numbers and greetings before it moves on to A1.
Which languages can I learn?
Many, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Russian. Choose the language you're learning when you set up your profile.
