Intensive one-to-one preparation for candidates targeting Band 7.5 and above. This is not a general English course: every session is built around your diagnostic results, your target band, and the specific criteria examiners score you on. How it works We start with a full mock test and diagnostic. From there you get a personal study plan showing exactly which band descriptors are holding your score down — task response, coherence, lexical range, grammatical accuracy, fluency, pronunciation — and how to move each one up. What we cover Writing: Task 1 and Task 2 structures, argument development, precision in academic vocabulary, and the accuracy issues that cap most candidates at 6.5. Every essay returned with band-by-band feedback. Speaking: All three parts, with recorded practice, fluency work, and strategies for Part 3 abstract questions. Mock speaking tests under exam conditions. Reading: Timing strategy, skimming and scanning under pressure, and the question types that cost candidates the most marks. Listening: Accent exposure, prediction, and the traps in Sections 3 and 4. Read the two student perspectives (e.g., Student A supports economic focus, Student B supports environmental focus). Pinpoint the argument gaps or connections between them. 2.Establish Your Thesis: Minutes 1:30 - 2:00.Formulate your clear stance. Your position can either directly expand on one student's view using a distinct point or propose a nuanced middle ground. 3.Draft the Core Argument: Minutes 2:00 - 8:30.Write your response using academic transitional structures. Refer explicitly to the discussion: "While Student A correctly highlights the financial implications, they overlook the long-term..." Add your concrete example. 4.Proofread and Refine Mechanics: Minutes 8:30 - 10:00.Check for subject-verb agreement, accurate verb tenses, and spelling errors. Ensure your transitions create a smooth logical flow. 📈 Score Optimization Principles The First-Stage Rule: In a multistage adaptive setup, your performance in the initial modules dictates the difficulty tier of your second module. Focus deeply on accuracy in the first half of your Reading and Listening tests to ensure you unlock the high-tier scoring branches. Pacing: You have roughly 1.4 minutes per item in the reading sections. If an academic question stalls your progress for more than 45 seconds, eliminate obviously incorrect options, pick the best remaining choice, and keep moving forward.
